This guide helps you create bespoke projects to include in your Reduction Plan. For an initial guide to the Reduction Plan, click here.
Create a new action template
If none of the existing action templates suit your idea, creating a new one is a great way to share an idea with your colleagues within your organisation!
This is also useful to provide customers with insight into projects that you are already implementing, so they have visibility and can stay abreast of your progress.
Step-by-step guide
-
Access the Action templates library via the navigation bar and click the blue button "Create new action".
-
Create new action menu
When creating a new action, keep the title and description simple, otherwise colleagues in other facilities may not understand your template, and create a duplicate version of the same action.
The Focus area menu allows you to categorise your new action so your customers can easily navigate their own platform.
-
Action impacts
This section allows you to forecast how complex you believe it will be to implement this project. Lots of M2030 suppliers use this field to later prioritise their reduction projects based on impact vs. effort.
CapEx - Capital expenses to carry out this project
OpEx - Operating expenses to carry out this project
-
Financial savings
You can provide overview into the payback period (how long you expect to wait to see savings generated by your action). You can also provide an indication of annual savings should you wish.
If unknown, this information can be added later
-
Save
Once you have saved your new action, it will be added into your library and you can then use it like any other action template. Find out more about building a Reduction Plan here.
