The M2030 Knowledge Hub: What it is and how to use it

What is the Knowledge Hub?

The Knowledge Hub is an educational in-platform tool to support your environmental impact reduction goals. It contains capacity-building resources across several environmental disciplines that aim to reduce the barriers you face in your reduction efforts.

What type of resources are available to me?

The Knowledge Hub provides the latest news, insights, and resources in various formats. These include webinars hosted with our expert partners, case studies from suppliers using the M2030 platform, and brief articles from our sustainability team. Additionally, the Knowledge Hub features profiles of each of our decarbonization partners.

The following examples highlight key focus areas included in these resources: 

When you access the Knowledge Hub, you will notice that there are several types of resources for each of the focus areas. For example, within the focus area of Carbon management, you can access one of the following resources among many more: 

How do I use the Knowledge Hub?

The Knowledge Hub is accessible to any user with an active license. To access the Knowledge Hub, you first need to be on the home screen. You can then either:

  • Use the navigation bar at the top of the screen to access the Knowledge Hub, 
  • Or scroll to the bottom of the screen and access the Knowledge Hub.

Once you are on the Knowledge Hub page, you can browse through the different available resources, using the filters option to narrow down your search of what you are interested in learning more about.

For example, if you were interested in learning about the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), and how to begin the process of setting Science-Based Targets (SBTs), you could use the focus area of Carbon Management within the Knowledge Hub.

From here, all of the relevant Carbon Management resources available will show on the screen.

To learn about Science-Based Targets, you could access the resource named ‘Setting Science Based Targets (SBTs) for Greenhouse Gas Reduction: Free Training and Introductory Resources’.

This short article will provide you with a great initial understanding of the Science-Based Targets' approach and process. This is highlighted by clicking on the image to the right.
