This article covers some common things to check as to why you might not be able to save your submission. This includes missing required questions (*), adding energy metrics and also high value submissions.
1. Make sure you have answered all questions with a red *
These questions have been mandated by your buyer, so you need to add date for these questions. If the questions don’t apply to your manufacturing process, please add 0.
If you can’t save your submission, it’s likely you have missed one of these questions. Go back and check your submission.
2. Check the energy metrics
Another reason you may encounter issues saving your submission, may be due to not selecting any energy-related questions. While your customers have not made these specific metrics mandatory, the ‘Energy’ section might be.
If there is a red * next to the energy section, you must select at least one energy metric and provide relevant data. Once you’ve added the required information, you should be able to save your submission successfully.
If you need guidance on adding metrics please see our guide: Changing your units and adding metrics
3. Data over platform threshold
The platform has data thresholds to ensure data quality is maintained. If you can’t save your submission, it may be because the value has been flagged as to high. If this is the case a warning message will appear.
Please double check internally that this figure is correct, comparing it to previous submission years. If you believe the data is accurate and the warning is still there, please Contact our team.
Include as much information as possible including what type of manufacturing your facility does and how you have come to this figure.
