The Manufacture 2030 platform is mainly set up to measure, manage and reduce emissions for manufacturing units. However, there are certain adjustments that can be made to incorporate service providers enabling you to still report to your buyers. 

Once you have registered set up a facility on the platform (follow the registration link you )received). As a service provider, please create no more than one facility for your submission.
 

Step one: Total Output 

• For your total output, you can use the unit best suited for your business. For example, you can report with your total sales contracts (reporting in financial units), FTE employee (Full-Time Equivalent) or work hours of the in the recent finished year to report.

  

• You can change your report units by clicking the ‘Edit measurement and units'. Find out more about changing units here.
  
  

  Please note that we will not share your total output data to your customer. This information is required to calculate your carbon, water and waste intensity per product unit. You can find what your customer can see here in our help centre.
   

  Step two: Add your customers

• Please select your customers. This enables us to share your progress with them. 

  

  Step three: Add Energy, Water and waste 

• To report your energy data, first select the energy types you wish to report. You can find more information of types of energy you can report here. If you have your own office space, you can collect energy, water and waste usage data from your office energy/ water bill(s). 

  
  If your company has a shared office, your property management company may be able to provide you with the energy/waste and water bill. If your company does not have a physical office and is fully remote, you can estimate using your own energy bill (you can estimate based on office hours/total hours). If the metric is not suitable for your business, you can input ‘0’ instead.

  

  Step four: Confirm data completion 

• Please tick the check box and click submit once you have entered all red asterisks fields. This marks your submission as complete. If you feel any red asterisk field is not relevant to your business, please feel free to enter ‘0’. 

• If the box cannot be ticked, even after you have answered all the mandatory questions, please refer to this document with the common reasons and solutions here.

   

Report with you own emission data

We understand that some businesses would much prefer to report using their own emissions data. If so, we can add the total scope 1 and 2 data, or your total scope 3 data from our end on your behalf.
